There's nothing like a centre-forward scoring a goal to answer their critics, and that is exactly the case with Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan has not been having the best time of late and the fans let him know it at home to Villarreal in midweek as he was whistled as he was replaced by Ansu Fati, although he is aware that he needs to improve, too.

Suarez kept quiet and waited for the next opportunity to respond in kind, with a trip to Getafe being the next game on the calendar.

The 32-year-old was decisive in the match, opening the scoring with a decisive goal against a team that concedes very few.

He was attentive and reacted well to a long ball from Marc-Andre ter Stegen, which caught Getafe's defence off guard. From there, everything was much easier for the Catalans.

With his goal against Getafe, Suarez already has three goals in LaLiga Santander this season, trailing Pichichi leader Gerard Moreno by three and second-placed Karim Benezema by two.

Now, the former Liverpool man has to transfer that positive energy into a solid performance in the Champions League with Inter coming to the Camp Nou on Wednesday.
