Cannavaro’s career stats look like almost the complete list of national and international achievements a player can achieve.
The former player and the current manager was Italy’s hero in 2006 when Italy managed to win the FIFA World Cup. A prime example of Italy’s defensive superiority, Cannavaro was only the sixth Italian to win the famous Ballon d’Or distinction.

In his latter part of his career, the defender represented two of Europe’s biggest clubs, Real Madrid and Juventus, winning the league title twice with both clubs. Fabio Cannavaro currently manages Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League.
