Lampard: Kante to miss Wolves clash but Rudiger & Kovacic return from injury

Chelsea will be without N'Golo Kante for their trip to Wolves as the French midfielder continues his recovery from ankle trouble.



Kante has managed just two appearances so far this season as he struggles to recover from injury.

However, boss Frank Lampard will be boosted by the return of Antonio Rudiger, while Pedro and Mateo Kovacic are also fit again.

Starlets Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James are also set to play for the development squad as they continue their progress on return from injury.

Ahead of the match, Lampard said: 'Wolves are a very good team.

'They have a good way of playing, dangerous attacking players and with a great record against the so-called bigger teams last season. We need to be ready on all levels.'
