Liverpool passed the first test in what will be a very busy few weeks with flying colours.

The Reds showcased all of their qualities as they battled back from a goal down to defeat Newcastle and move five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

But no sooner did the final whistle sound that Jurgen Klopp turned his attentions to the defence of Liverpool's Champions League crown.

Indeed, Rhian Brewster was withdrawn after playing just 15 minutes of Liverpool's under-23s clash with Derby County at the Academy on Saturday afternoon and is likely to travel to Italy on Monday with the Reds after Divock Origi picked up an ankle injury.

Here we look ahead to the changes Klopp could make when his side face Napoli on Tuesday evening.

Defensive tweaks?
Adrian is nailed on to start in goal, and he'll be joined by Andy Robertson and Virgil van Dijk in defence, but Klopp could tweak his backline ever so slightly. The Reds boss has Joe Gomez in reserve and he could replace Joel Matip or Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Midfield reshuffle?
Last season, Klopp turned to Gini Wijnaldum, James Milner and Naby Keita as his midfield trio for the trip to Naples but that is certain to be different this time around.

Definitely absent is Keita, who is expected to return to full training after the clash with Carlo Ancelotti's side.

One man who should come in is Fabinho, who didn't feature for the Reds in the same fixture last time out. Jordan Henderson is likely to join him in midfield having sat out of the win over Newcastle but Milner could also be called upon should the Reds boss decide to give Wijnaldum a rest.

Certain starters?
Roberto Firmino will start in Naples, that's for sure. The Brazilian emerged from the bench against Newcastle and helped the Reds step it up a gear.

Klopp will want him for what is, on paper at least, Liverpool's hardest game of the group.

He'll be joined by Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane to give Liverpool the best chance of success.

The trio were quiet in last year's game but they'll be desperate to make up for it by getting Liverpool off to the best possible start in 2019/20.

Predicted team: Adrian, Gomez, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Milner, Henderson; Mane, Salah, Firmino
